The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a Cold Weather Advisory. This weather alert goes into effect from Sunday, December 14, at 6 p.m. through Monday, December 15, at 7 a.m.

The reason for this Cold Weather Advisory is that residents can expect very cold wind chill values as low as 8 degrees in the northern region and 15 degrees in the southern region.
