Tuscaloosa Mayor Walt Maddox Takes a Run Through UA Campus

Okay, the headline might be a bit misleading. Tuscaloosa Mayor Walt Maddox was literally running. He admitted that he really likes running or jogging. And early in the morning, that’s where we found him.

On this particular day, the mayor had just completed a run on the University of Alabama campus. Maddox marveled at how clean the campus and city were after just hosting 100,000 people for Bama football. Tuscaloosa becomes the largest city in Alabama on any home game Saturday.

Mayor Maddox also reported it was one of the quietest weekends in 20 years on the crime front.

With so many people in T Town for Bama football, that is something to be proud of.
