USPS ‘A Charlie Brown Christmas’ Stamps on Sale Today

The United States Post Office will release "A Charlie Brown Christmas"  stamps today to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the TV special. A Charlie Brown Christmas first aired aired on CBS in December 1965.

The program now airs every year on ABC. This booklet of 20 stamps features 10 still frames from A Charlie Brown Christmas (two of each design).

On each stamp, the words "FOREVER USA" in the same font used in the Peanuts comic strip appear in the top right corner or along the left edge.

You can even get First Day of Issue Postmarks

According to USPS.gov:
Customers have 60 days to obtain the first-day-of-issue postmark by mail. They may purchase new stamps at local Post Offices, at The Postal Store at usps.com/shop or by calling 800-STAMP-24. They should affix the stamps to envelopes of their choice, address the envelopes (to themselves or others) and place them in larger envelopes addressed to:

After applying the first-day-of-issue postmark, the Postal Service will return the envelopes through the mail. There is no charge for the postmark up to a quantity of 50. For more than 50, the price is 5 cents each. All orders must be postmarked by Nov. 30, 2015.
