
Tuscaloosa’s NAACP and SCLC Presents City Council Candidate Forum
Discover your local leaders in action! Join the Tuscaloosa Branch of the NAACP and the SCLC Tuscaloosa Chapter for an insightful City Council forum.
According to the press release, the “forum is a non-partisan community conversation to determine the most important issues from the community facing the next City Council.”
The forum will be held on Thursday, February 27, at the Central High School Auditorium for an enlightening City Council forum. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., with the event kicking off at 6 p.m. Admission is free, and everyone is welcome. You can also catch the forum live on the Tuscaloosa Branch NAACP’s Facebook page.

The press release said both organizations hope to “reflect what our citizens believe are the most important issues facing the next City Council and give the candidates an opportunity to publicly respond about how they will deal with those issues."
