Tuscaloosans Wear Pajamas To The Grocery Store

I made a late evening run to my neighborhood market in Tuscaloosa. I noticed a 20 something young female shopping in her pajamas. No doubt they were pajamas. She was wearing Uggs with them. She wore them well.

Are pajamas appropriate for public grocery shopping? I've certainly hit the streets in sweat pants. Might have worn them with flip flops. That is a hot look.
My mama's head would have exploded! She dresses up to go the grocery store.

Times have changed. We are all casual all the time. I know people who wear shorts to church. "Lord forgive them", my mama would say. For they know not what they do.

I've even left the house in boxer shorts & a t-shirt. Don't dare tell mama.
