A little bit of the backstory on this legendary group of folks.
On August 15th, 2009, Edie Hand and Ronnie McDowell released The Genuine Elvis: Photos and Untold Stories about the King.
It is a fascinating compilation of photos and personal anecdotes by the authors about Elvis Presley. It has information about many of the key players in Elvis’ life and career, detailing relationships that were forged with and because of Elvis, and truly shows a partof the man behind the legend.
And now the authors want to bring the book to life in a grand and
exciting way. The Genuine Elvis Concert is an event that any fan of music, history, and especially The King himself will not want to miss.
Hosted at the Historic Bama Theatre on February 13th, courtesy
of the Arts Council of Tuscaloosa, the event truly begins before the venue's doors even open.
Edie Hand, co-author of The Genuine Elvis book and cousin of Elvis Presley, will be co-hosting with Steve & DC from Townsquare Media Tuscaloosa.
