Music that lights the American sky.

That is what "Aurora" is all about, and it is coming to Tuscaloosa on Monday, November 17.

The Tuscaloosa Symphony Orchestra is inviting all of West Alabama to a special night of music at Moody Concert Hall.

Monday, November 17th at 7:00 pm.

The program celebrates the heart and spirit of the American sound.

It will be led by Maestro Adam Flatt, and the music brings warmth, color, and a touch of wonder to Tuscaloosa.

This musical night will open with Strum by Jessie Montgomery, one of today's most exciting composers. It bursts with rhythm and life while blending classical tradition with the energy of jazz and folk music.

"Aurora" is known as a celebration of who we are as Americans and as a community that values artistry, education, and connection.

The TSO will feature a couple of their own, Jenny Gregoire and Jacob Adams, joined with harpsichordist Michael Delfin in Verso by Kenji Bunch.

There will be an intermission during the performance of "Aurora" at Moody Concert Hall.

This will be a great night to pause, listen, and be reminded that great music isn't just something that happens elsewhere because it happens right here in Tuscaloosa.
