Tuscaloosa Special Olympics

The 2017 Special Olympics held today at Northridge High School was a big success.  Beth Anderson was our 1st Champion in the softball throw as Big AL cheered her to victory!

Why fit in when you were born to stand out?

Beth Anderson has competed for 35 years in the Tuscaloosa area special olympics.  Beth is pictured below with Big AL.

200 Athletes showed up to compete this year including for the first time ever ages 3-7.

A very special thanks to our 95.3 The Bear engineer John and Emily Macher and many volunteers that made this event so great!  Today's Wild Bill Show salutes all of the athletes involved in the 2017 Tuscaloosa Area Special Olympics.
