Tuscaloosa Event Brings Hope To Those Battling Addiction
Numbers have consistently shown Alabama as one of the top states in prescription drug abuse.

I am willing to bet that everyone who reads this knows someone who has dealt with addiction.
The team at Behavioral Health Group in Tuscaloosa is putting on a big event on September 19th to help point families in a positive direction.
Many times, someone going through addiction can easily spiral out of control and feel completely hopeless.
The event theme on Sept. 19th is "Each One, Bring One", a call to bring a loved one who is dealing with opiate drug addiction.
Fentanyl has been the drug that we have heard so much about due to the extreme danger that it poses for addicts or even someone trying it for the first time.
BHG is aiming to help with quality of life, alleviate cravings, manage withdrawal symptoms, and connect people to a supportive community.
The September 19 event will be held at the Belk Activity Center located at 2101 Bowers Park Drive.
The event is set to run from 10 am to 1 pm.
Light bites and refreshments will be served at the event.
BHG is really hoping for the community to bring those friends and loved ones who really could benefit from learning more about treatment.
Of course, anyone is welcome, even if that means it is just you.
The hope is that people will come for the connection and stay for the recovery.
