Malik Benson, the top rated junior college wideout in the class of 2023, made his official visit to Alabama this week, joining several other notable talents in Tuscaloosa.

Benson is currently enrolled at Hutchinson Community College in Kansas where recent transfer Miles Kitselman also played, and has interest from nearly every school in the country.

The 6-foot-1, 185 lb. wideout is ranked as a four-star prospect by 247Sports and enters his sophomore season at Hutchinson this year. As a freshman, Benson compiled an impressive stat line, hauling in 43 passes for 1,229 yards and 11 touchdowns, breaking the NJCAA single-season record for yards per reception (28.6).

Per a report from Andrew Bone of BamaInsider, Benson is on pace to graduate in December of this year and has mostly narrowed his list to five programs: Oregon Tennessee, LSU, Alabama and Georgia.

Benson told BamaInsider, "Those are the five schools that really caught my attention," the wideout continued, "I have built a good relationship with coaches from those schools. I plan on committing sometime in July so that I can focus on graduating and my final season at Hutchinson."

The Crimson Tide currently holds just four commitments in the 2023 class, none of which are wide receiver, so Benson could be a massive addition to a team that could see a lot of turnover at the position after this season.
