A couple of weeks ago, my wife told me about this young man who rode a bicycle 50 miles to register for college classes.  Today i heard he got some life-changing help from a stranger who actually bought him a car.  The stranger apparently read the story just like many of us did, but he decided to do something about it!  :)

Fred Barley, 19, was sleeping in a tent in Barnesville, Georgia, back in July.  He told police  he had ridden his younger brother's bicycle the 50 miles from his home in Conyers, GA  to register for college.  WGXA tells us he had planned to stay several week in a tent until school started.

A man named Andy Ungaro, who owns a repair shop in Philadelphia, PA actually GAVE Fred a car today after seeing the story on Facebook.  How incredible, how simple, how beautiful!!!

This afternoon the small bike is riding in the trunk of a 2004 Hyundai Elantra that was recently restored with a new timing belt, new tires and a radio.  When i heard this update, we just had to share the love story on the show today!
