This Sunday is Championship Sunday in the NFL. In the NFC, two old-timers in Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers will be dueling it out for the Buccaneers and the Packers. In the AFC, the reigning champion Chiefs will face off against the Bills, who burst on the scene this season.

The Crimson Tide is highly represented in the NFL, with only the New Orleans Saints lacking a player from the Capstone.

Wide receiver Gehrig Dieter, who played the 2016 season at Alabama and won an SEC championship, is on the Chiefs practice squad helping them prepare each week.

The Buffalo Bills feature starting cornerback Levi Wallace, who walked on at Alabama in 2015, and backup running back T.J. Yeldon, who had three 1,000 all-purpose yard seasons and helped the Tide to a national championship in 2012 and two SEC championships.

Wallace worked his way up from walk-on to starting cornerback and ultimately earned second team All-SEC honors in 2017, his final year at Alabama. Wallace helped carry the Tide to their 17th national championship, and he finished his career with 38 solo tackles and three interceptions, with one going for a touchdown against Ole Miss.

Wallace went undrafted and was picked up by the Bills in 2018. Once again, he proved he is not the kind of guy you want to bet against. Wallace has now earned a starting role on the Bills, and he will be competing to earn a trip the the Super Bowl.

The Packers feature punter J.K. Scott, who was a star punter at Alabama from 2014 to 2017. He helped the team to three SEC championships and two national championships, averaging 45.6 yards per punt throughout his four years in Tuscaloosa. Scott was drafted in the 5th round by the Packers in 2018, and he has been their starter ever since.

Buccaneers tight end O.J. Howard, who had two meaningful touchdowns for the Tide in the 2015 national championship, ruptured his Achilles in week four and will not get to play for the rest of the season.

Playing for championships is nothing new to these well decorated Alabama alumni. No matter who emerges victorious this weekend, the Crimson Tide will be represented and these players can add to their stellar resumes.
