Team of the Week

95.3 The Bear and The Athlete's Foot would like to congratulate the Sipsey Valley Bears on earning Team of the Week honors!

The Bears defeated the Hale County Wildcats on October 2nd to move their record to 6-4 on the season and also secured their first ever playoff birth!

They'll be facing the 9-1 record of the Leed's Green Wave on Friday in the first round of the 2012 Alabama Boys State Football Playoffs (Class 3A).

Coach Ford and the team were presented their trophy this week on the practice field.
