Seeing a tacky flock of flamingos scattered throughout a neighbor's yard may be considered "normal" in the south, but what about a gang of seemingly misplaced dinosaurs?

These curious statues were brought to Barber Parkway in Elberta, Alabama by billionaire George Barber. He purchased them from Mark Cline in 1991 with the intention of displaying the creatures as "lawn ornaments." After paying a ridiculously large sum of money, Barber meticulously placed his new toys in his 10,000 acre "lawn" for the community to gawk at.

Cline and Barber never actually met until almost 10 years later but eventually became close friends. The duo is also responsible for the commissioning of Lady in the Lake and Bamahenge.
