He is one of my all-time favorite musicians across genres and, in particular, one of my favorite contemporary Christian artists of my lifetime.

We are scheduled to spend time with him this afternoon, during the 5 pm hour on the Late-Afternoon Show with DC, Scott, and Holli Mack.

Steven's wildly successful Speechless 25 tour is coming to our area in March.

We are very excited about it and will be giving away tickets on 1017 the river!

Chapman has strong ties to Tuscaloosa and West Alabama, with one of his daughters attending the university and being a star on the national-champion football cheer squad.

The Chapman family is a strong advocate for adoption, and Steven wrote the hit song “When Love Takes You In” on the topic.

It’s become a theme song for adoption worldwide.

“Speechless” was the album released in 1999 by Steven Curtis Chapman, and it featured seven hit singles.

The song “Dive” has become a staple in Contemporary Christian music.

Several of the other songs are also fan favorites.

For the 25th anniversary of the hit album, Chapman has been touring, playing every song on Speechless from start to finish.

What makes this tour so incredible is that it’s not the end of the show; the second half of the night features some of the biggest songs in Chapman’s career from other albums.

The concert truly becomes one great adventure.

The Speechless tour is coming on March 6 at the Metropolitan Church in Birmingham.
