At 6:33 a.m. - There is a Flash Flood Warning for Southwestern Tuscaloosa County until 9:45 a.m.
Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1.5 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
At 6:19 a.m., the Tuscaloosa Airport has measured around 1.5" of rain so far, with rain continuing to fall.
At 6:16 a.m. in Lamar, Alabama, Water is flowing over Highway 17 near Steedley Road.
