A tradition in these parts each Summer will not happen this month. Rock The South 2026 will be postponed until the first few days of October. The event organizers say it has to do with the weather conditions. The popular festival of popular country acts was moved this year to Decatur, Alabama. Fans have been excited to experience the festival in its new habitat.

Well, that will have to wait for a few months. The organizers say that the lineup of musical acts will not change. The new dates are now October 1-4, 2026. The core headliners, Riley Green, Zach Top, and Jason Aldean, will all appear at the festival in October.

The organizers cite the heavy rain in recent days as a key reason for postponing the festival. Despite leaving many fans disappointed, the promotional group behind Rock The South claims that safety is its top concern. The original event was set to kick off in just a couple of days, and many fans had already begun traveling to Decatur, Alabama.

One positive for the new dates seems to be a longer festival. Rock The South 2026, scheduled for October, will last four days instead of the three originally scheduled for this week.
