When you think of summertime in Alabama, you think water, sun, vacation, and cook outs. One thing we sometimes forget to think about is the dreaded tick.

Ticks are small arachnids that live by feeding on the blood of mammals, birds, and sometimes reptiles and amphibians. If you’re bitten by a tick, you need to remove it in order to prevent infection or contracting one of the many diseases they carry, but getting the tick out of your skin without leaving in it's head is difficult! Well, until now.
