Public Information Officer Carrie Summers released a media statement addressing a recent home invasion that occurred on Sunday in Northport.

The statement read:

'On 02/07/2016 at 6:55pm, a black male, approximately 5’8, 180lbs, wearing all black clothing, a ski-mask, and gloves entered into an occupied residence in the 5000 Block of Easton Lane.

The victim’s vehicle was later discovered to have been entered.

No weapons were reported to have been involved, there were no injuries to the victim, and no items were found to be missing.'
