Nick Saban on Instagram Live

The COVID-19 coronavirus has forced society into social distancing from one another which has pushed people to using new technology to communicate with one another. For some its been learning Zoom technology to practice video conferencing, for others, like Alabama coach Nick Saban, its been learning email.

Saban revealed to Maria Taylor on Instagram live that Miss Terry Saban quit as his day-to-day receptionist and has forced him into managing his own email account. He also told her he uses Apple's Facetime to talk to recruits and yes he even Zooms each morning for his 7:30 a.m. staff meeting.

Saban disclosed to Taylor the ways the football program has stayed engaged with the players both on an academic level and on a physical performance level. From ensuring players have the proper computers and internet connections for online classes to resistance bands for creative workouts, the Crimson Tide staff has worked tirelessly to ensure the players needs are met.

Taylor asked Saban what he's been doing during his down-time to stay entertained and he quickly assured her that while things are different, there is no down time as he is preparing for the 2020 season in full force.

The two concluded their mid-day interview with Taylor revealing that Saban had defeated her in a game of "HORSE" the last time she was in Tuscaloosa. The former Georgia Lady Bulldogs basketball player said she was spending her social distancing practicing her shooting so she could get revenge on him the next time she was down at Alabama.
