I just discovered The Backyard Scientist  on YouTube. This guy takes everyday backyard things and turns them into science projects. He has over 37,000 subscribers! Check out this "art" that came from Molten Aluminum and a watermelon.

The Backyard Scientist describes himself as follows: "I like to make videos on all the crazy stuff I do.From exploding arrows, to making instruments, molten aluminum to science/chemistry experiments I do it so you don't have to! I like to build things, and I make my videos in a well explained way so you can DIY at home!"

This looks like a waste of a perfectly good watermelon to me.

You've probably seen the ant hill castings on YouTube. This turned out similar.
