Mold, Rodent Feces, and More Found in Alabama Restaurants
Can't we just eat in peace?
Several Alabama restaurants have failed their health inspections, and the details are GROSS. WAFF 48 looked into the results for several Alabama counties.
A Zaxby's in Fort Payne had MOLD in the ice machine and TOXIC CHEMICALS stored next to the bread. Just trying out some new sandwich ingredients, I guess. (Score: 77)
A Jack's, also in Fort Payne, also had mold issues and scored an 82. They had MOLD in an ice cream scoop holder, folks.
Get it together, Fort Payne!!
At least it wasn't RAW EGGS. The Panther Cafe in Collinsville had food stored improperly and was slapped with a score of 83.
Send your prayers to the Scott Bobo mini-mart in Madison County. They received a 74 after inspectors found SPOILED HAM, ROTTEN TOMATOES, and MOLDY CHICKEN WINGS at the location.
Turkey's Barbecue in Harvest got a higher score (77), but these mistakes are just gross--and weird. The health inspection found RODENT FECES in the storage area, plus employees STORING BEER in the ice machine!!
Finally, if you like ice in your drink, Don't go to the Madison Square Chevron--they have a DIRTY ICE MACHINE. (Score: 82)
Just...yuck.
I might make dinner at home tonight.
