Another Alabama season starts up today with Spring practice, as we get ready for A-Day in April.

Tua, Mac, Jalen and Bryce.

We have been blessed of late here at Quarterback U.

That should be our nickname after the run of signal-callers we've had in the last few seasons.

However, I think we have seen this happen before, in a way.

We have Jalen Milroe, a 4-star recruit.

We have Ty Simpson, a 5-star recruit.

In addition, we have Eli Holstein and Dylan Lonergan, who are both 4-star recruits.

Holstein is considered one of the Top 10 QB's in the country and Lonergan is pretty good too.

They wouldn't be here if they weren't real, real good.

This reminds me of Jalen Hurts and Tua Tagovailoa a few years ago.

Jalen Hurts had all the dynamic and explosive ability to make plays on the run. He was not as developed as a passer, as he is today.

I find the same with Jalen Milroe. He is FAST and excellent at making something out of nothing with his feet.

However, Ty Simpson is a rare QB talent in my opinion.

Here are some highlights of his High School career.

Those are just a few of his amazing plays during his High School years.

The arm talent is rare. He is this young and can make every throw on the field.

He is also pretty dang good at getting out of trouble and making something happen with his feet.

Why mess around with someone else that Simpson will likely replace down the road.

It's a waste of valuable playing time.

Here is more on the youngster that I believe is our starter in 2023.

This is gonna be a fun ride in 2023.
