Man Charged With Recording Women in Gym Changing Room

A man from Vestavia Hills was arrested for secretly recording women in the changing room at 24 Hour Fitness on the Montgomery Highway in Hoover.

32 year old Brandon Aldridge was charged with 13 counts of aggravated criminal surveillance.

A woman called cops after noticing a reflective object in the dressing room mirror. The woman also spotted a phone being held over the dressing room partition.

8 women were recorded and 7 elected to press charges.

Alabama law states a person commits aggravated criminal surveillance if they engage in surveillance where a person expects privacy for the purpose of sexual gratification. This is a Class A misdemeanor.
