Julio Jones surprised many in the NFL world when he signed a one-year deal to join forces with his former foe, Tom Brady, this week. The veteran wideout spent most of this year's offseason without a team, but now it appears he was simply waiting for the perfect opportunity.

Jones touched down in Tampa Bay shortly after news broke of his signing, and made his first appearance at training camp on Thursday.

While the two NFL vets have barely even had time to even get familiar with one another, Brady and Jones have already begun to build their on-field chemistry.

In a clip posted by David Schiele of WTSP in Tampa Bay, Jones can be seen snagging a pass in the corner of the endzone from Brady, resulting in a thunderous applause from the crowd in attendance.

Jones is coming off of one of his worst seasons of his eleven-year career, but dealt with nagging injuries throughout the 2021 campaign. Now, fully healthy, and in a situation where he isn't forced to be a top option, the wideout could potentially see a career resurgence as a Buccaneer.

The former five-star joins a receiver room led by Pro Bowlers Mike Evans and Chris Godwin, so unlike his time in Tennessee last season, Tampa Bay will likely not rely on him as heavily.

Jones' injury history indicates he can probably no longer perform at a level he once did, so serving as a third option for Tom Brady and a loaded Buccaneers offense is the best case scenario for the veteran.
