13 U.S. servicemen were killed in the Kabul airport attack last Thursday. Joe Judge, who is currently the head coach for the New York Giants, honored these US soldiers and every servicemen and woman fighting for our country in Afghanistan.

While Judge said he receives many letters from soldiers overseas who root for his team, he wants them to know that his team is supporting them also.  “...we are supporting them as well. So, we appreciate everything they do, we want to see them all to come home safely, and obviously we don't want to see any of them lose their lives,” said Judge during a press conference on Sunday.

Judge along with several other players wore hats to bring awareness to the 11 marines, one navel, one army and the military as a whole. Judge went on to put in perspective the game of football and his role as a coach, versus what our military does to make that all possible.

“I think it’s important to keep in perspective that the reality is, it's serious to us because it’s serious business, right? That's what it is. It’s a production business. We’re paid very handsomely to go out there and do a job as a player or coach. But, at the end of the day, it’s a game, it’s entertainment, right? That’s what it is. Now they’re playing you know, life or death.”
