Monkeys On The Loose In Neighboring Mississippi
This is beyond anything we’ve reported before, and we have shared plenty of bizarre news with you in the past.

This is a story of monkeys being on the loose after a truck accident.
The wreck happened only a couple of hours away from Tuscaloosa County, just over the state line.
One of the scary angles—and trust me, there are multiple—is that this is not the first group of monkeys to escape on their way to Florida or out of it.
This hauling monkeys back and forth to Florida impacts Alabama, possibly if there is another accident.
More on that in a moment. These are known as Rhesus monkeys.
One of the other scary angles in this story is the fact that the monkeys are carrying hepatitis C, herpes, and COVID.
So that’s great, we have diseased monkeys on the loose in the next state over.
According to multiple reports, these monkeys are aggressive, and the crash happened in Jasper County, Mississippi.
Here is a great video taken shortly after the crash.

The Monkeys are about 40 pounds and aggressive toward humans, according to a Facebook post from the sheriff's department in that community.
So we have aggressive, diseased monkeys running wild in our neighboring state.
Authorities say most of the monkeys have been dealt with and put down, but as of this morning, three remain at large. Authorities are telling folks not to approach the monkey and to call 911 if they see one on the loose.
What a big, goofy world we live in.
