Jack’s Hamburgers Worker in Mississippi Accused of Intentionally Contaminating Food
Here's a gross story to start your Monday: a fast-food worker in Mississippi is being accused of deliberately contaminating a customer's food.
The Tuscaloosa News reports that Jack's Hamburgers and the Mississippi State Health Department are already investigating after a claim was made in December. The Columbus, Mississippi Police Department has opened a criminal investigation as well.
New Hope, MS resident Tabatha Hollins says her 16-year-old daughter was fired from her job at Jack's Hamburgers after making a Facebook post in which she detailed what she allegedly saw happen at the restaurant: a fellow employee licked and wiped bodily fluids on an order before serving it to a customer.
Gross! We'll continue to follow the investigation as it develops.
