Sellers said officers arrived in the area of Colonial Hills and found a male suffering from a gunshot injury they said was not life-threatening.

Sellers said the VCU is investigating, and they believe two women were having a physical fight on Sunday when bystanders began firing guns.

"The investigation is continuing as conflicting accounts have been given," Sellers said. "The male victim was treated and is stable."
