Two Republican presidential candidates will join a co-host of the top-rated morning show on cable TV for a segment shot live at a brunch restaurant in downtown Tuscaloosa on Thursday.
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy will join Ambassador Nikki Haley and Governor Chris Christie in the Republican Party's fourth presidential primary debate inside the University of Alabama's Moody Music Hall Wednesday night.
DeSantis and Ramaswamy will remain in the Druid City overnight and head to Brick & Spoon restaurant in Temerson Square for a segment on FOX & Friends.
According to a release sent to the Thread, co-host Lawrence Jones will be on location at Brick & Spoon for the show's signature 'Breakfast with Friends' segment and the two candidates will be his special guests.
Promoters said Jones plans to "speak with diner patrons about the previous evening’s debate, issues impacting Alabama voters and other news of the day."
Brick & Spoon said on Facebook that the Breakfast with Friends segment begins at 5 a.m. Thursday morning and doors to the restaurant will open at 4:45 a.m.
