Cavender's Boot City Coming Soon to Tuscaloosa's Midtown Village

One of the largest corporate Western wear and boot emporiums is coming soon to Tuscaloosa's Midtown Village shopping center, they announced in a Tuesday press release.

Signage has been up for Cavender's Boot City for some time, but the company confirmed the news this week.

They said their fifth store in Alabama will open soon in Midtown Village, in an 11,200-square-foot space that previously housed Party City, which closed in late 2024.

The Tyler, Texas-based Cavender's is more than 60 years old and sells leather boots and a line of jeans, hats, belts, and accessories.

"Customers can expect to see well-known labels such as Ariat, Wrangler, Resistol, in addition to Cavender’s very own line, including Rockin’ C, Rafter C, and JRC & Sons brands," the company said in their release. "The new store will offer personalized services including boot fitting, hat shaping, boot stretching, and more."

The store will also offer membership in My Cavender's, the brand's loyalty program, and get exclusive offers, early access to promotions, easier returns and more.
