As a result, edge rusher Dallas Turner is now  a consensus All-American.

The Sporting News has corner Kool-Aid McKinstry and Turner as first-teamers.

Corner Terrion Arnold, safety Caleb Downs, offensive tackle JC Latham and kicker Will Reichard were named to the seond unit.

Since The Sporting News is one of five outlets that determine consensus All-American status, Turner is now a consensus All-American. McKinstry needs to be named an AFCA first-team All-American in order to also receive consensus distinction. That organization has not yet made its choices public.
