Saban Praises Working Relationship With Gold Ahead of His Return

Alabama football head coach Nick Saban held a post-practice press conference on Wednesday afternoon.

During the conference, he was asked about his thoughts on Eli Gold returning to the radio booth for the football season.

"Yeah, I love Eli," said Saban. "He's been with us for a long time. He's kind of a part of the tradition around here in terms of the expectation of being the voice of the Crimson Tide [Sports] Network in a lot of ways, whether it's radio show or whatever it is, and I'm just happy for him and his family that he's getting healthier and he's able to get around and he's going to be able to get back and do what he loves doing. So, we're going to do everything we can to support him and even though it may not be 100% Full Throttle, we're sort of working on back into it, but I'm excited to have him back because I love working with him."
