Four Alabama Players Named to All-SEC Team on Monday
Alabama's baseball team had four players selected for the 2025 All-SEC team, with two players making the first team and two others making the second team.

On Monday, the SEC league office announced that Carson Ozmer, Kade Snell, Justin Lebron, and Riley Quick earned a spot on the All-SEC team. Lebron earned his second consecutive All-Defensive Team honor.
Snell and Ozmer both received first-team honors, with LeBron and Quick being among the second-team selections.
No.23 Alabama (40-15, 16-14 SEC) has had a historic season, picking up its first 40-win season since 2002, and now the Tide has made even more history on Monday with Snell being the first Crimson Tide outfielder to be named a first-team selection since 2012. LeBron is also the first player in school history to receive back-to-back All-Defensive teams, with the shortstop earning the honor in his freshman and sophomore seasons with Alabama. Ozmer becomes the first Alabama pitcher since 2009 to receive a first-team selection. For the first time since 2010, the Crimson Tide has two players earning first-team honors. Let’s take a look at each honoree.
All-SEC First Team
Kade Snell: Started in all but one game for the Crimson Tide during the Tide’s 55 games this season. The team captain led Alabama in batting average (.356), hits (37), total bases (65), on-base percentage (.469), and slugging (.625) in 30 SEC games. His .374 batting average is the second-highest in the SEC. The senior left fielder has only eight strikeouts in 104 conference at-bats, the lowest number among SEC batters. He has ten home runs on the season, with two coming in the Tide’s 6-11 loss to LSU on April 17th.
Carson Ozmer: Set the program record and led the league with 16 saves overall. He appeared in 14 conference games with the Penn transfer, putting up a 4.64 earned run average with a 3-1 record to go along with his eight saves, which were the second most among SEC relievers. The relief pitcher for the Crimson Tide also picked up two saves on the same day against a top-ten Georgia team on May 11.
All-SEC Second Team
Justin Lebron: The star shortstop played in all 30 conference games for the Crimson Tide, leading the SEC with 69 RBIs and ranking fifth in the league for home runs with 18. He was second on the team for home runs (6), total bases (57), and walks (15) in SEC games. Lebron also led the team in doubles and was a perfect eight-for-eight in stolen bases during conference play. Defensively, he had an outstanding year, finishing with only three errors while helping complete 18 of the Tide's 23 double plays this season in SEC play.
Riley Quick: In his first year back after Tommy John surgery, Quick has emerged as one of Alabama's top pitchers, posting a 3-1 record in conference play with the lowest ERA (4.20) among starters. He tallied 50 strikeouts, leading the team in conference play, and recorded a career-high nine strikeouts in a 5-2 win over Vanderbilt on May 3, pitching six innings. Quick also allowed only one hit in a shutout performance against Texas A&M during a 6-2 victory on March 15.
Alabama will rely on these players during its postseason run, as the Tide prepares for the first round of the SEC tournament in Hoover, Alabama, where they will meet the No.16 seed Missouri on Tuesday, May 20. The winner of this game will move on to face Tennessee on Wednesday, which claimed a 2-1 series win over Alabama back in March.
