Alabama football offensive lineman Olaus Alinen got baptized on Sunday.

He shared the news, along with a video, on social media.

"Acts 22:16 Today I committed my life to Jesus Christ," wrote Alinen.

According to Bible Gateway, the verse says "And now what are you waiting for? Get up, be baptized and wash your sins away, calling on his name."

The Finland native is a four-star recruit from the class of 2023. He ranked No. 162 nationally, No. 14 in offensive tackles, and No. 1 in the state of Connecticut, according to 247Sports Composite. He attended high school at The Loomis Chaffee School in Windsor, CT.

He committed to the Capstone on July 22, 2022 and enrolled on Jan. 10, 2023.
