In Defense of Utah State (Somebody’s Gotta Do It)

I'll admit it. I LOST money on Saturday.

I was pulling for the FIGHTIN’ UTAH-IANS! (I guess that’s what they call themselves???) 

That game was a total white-TABER-knuckle fight for at least 6 minutes.

At least the game gave everyone plenty of time to check out the beer selection.

(were THEY at the game?) 

I mean, it’s great to have football again, but I am afraid there are only a few games to look forward to this year. 

Don’t get me wrong, Latter-day’s matchup with Utah State was a perfect start to an all new season of football.

We haven't played a team from Utah since 2009. And we lost. 

This time around though, things were different.

By halftime, Bama was only ahead by 41 points.

It was at this point that I THINK I could have beaten Utah State BY MYSELF.

AND I RUN LIKE A GIRL!

Looking forward to next week for a SPIRITED CONTEST WITH Texas.

Everyone should be on their best behavior.

But, I was really hoping Utah St. was gonna bring mor (mon) of their "A" game.
