Former Alabama and current Dallas Cowboys cornerback Trevon Diggs may soon find himself in hot water. The second-year corner is facing accusations of physically assaulting a popular Instagram model. The model, Chinese Kitty, also alleges that Diggs threatened her with gun violence and went overboard with harassing text messages and phone calls.

Chinese Kitty took to WagsUnfiltered on Instagram to make her accusations and question Diggs' worth as a role model. "WAG" is a common acronym for "Wives and Girlfriends" and is often used to describe an athlete's significant other.

Screenshots of her posts to @WagsUnfiltered can be viewed on TotalProSports.

Kitty said, “How you a man so quick to put hands on a female. @TrevonDiggs riding around calling my phone threatening me with guns. That’s sick. This y’all role model?”

She continued in another post, "We got whole football players out here threatening females. @TrevonDiggs @NFL This the type of role models that represent the NFL? Sick @TrevonDiggs"

She revealed screenshots showing missed calls and test messages to her phone. It is not clear whether the number listed in the screenshots belong to Diggs or not. She comments, "27 messages of threats from random numbers. @DallasCowboys @TrevonDiggs Sad."

Kitty's accusations will not go ignored from the NFL given her 3.5 million followers and the popularity of the Dallas Cowboys. The NFL, Dallas Cowboys nor Diggs have offered any comment on the matter to this point.

Diggs is expected to start for the Cowboys after a strong rookie year, he appeared in 12 games for Dallas tallying 58 total tackles, 14 passes defended and three interceptions. Should Diggs face discipline from law enforcement or the NFL it will undoubtedly leave a hole in the Cowboys secondary.
