“Far too often, our youth and survivors are forced to go without the basic items that most of us take for granted,” said Veronica Little, Founder & Executive Director of DorAnn, Inc. “Through this initiative, we are removing barriers to education and healing while ensuring families know they are not alone.”

Aiming to restore dignity, improve school attendance, and connect families with critical trauma-informed resources, this initiative provides essential hygiene kits stocked with soap, deodorant, toothbrushes, feminine care products, and survivor resource materials.

According to the press release, “The Hygiene & Survivor Care Kits will be distributed through schools, community partners, and DorAnn, Inc.’s outreach efforts. Each kit includes not only personal care products but also vital information on local survivor support services, including crisis hotlines, counseling, and caregiver resources.”
