The Northport Police Department is congratulating dispatcher Christy Duncan and dispatcher Ben Madrid on being named Police Dispatcher of the Year.

“Throughout countless evening shift calls, they have demonstrated countless outstanding professionalism, dedication, and exceptional service,“ says a Northport Police Department statement.

“We truly could not do what we do without the commitment and hard work of our police dispatchers, and we are very grateful for everything they contribute every day.
