An event that signals the start of the spring season in Alabama is the Northport Bunny Trail in Historic Downtown Northport hosted by the Junior League of Tuscaloosa.

The trail's Grand Opening is this Saturday, March 22, at 10:30 a.m., with many fun events to celebrate the 2025 kickoff.

Residents and visitors can enjoy the Northport Bunny Trail until Easter, April 20.

What Makes the Bunny Trail So Special?

The Northport Bunny Trail is a project of the Junior League of Tuscaloosa in partnership with the City of Northport. “The Junior League of Tuscaloosa is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting volunteerism, developing the potential of women, and improving communities. Proceeds support local programs and initiatives,” said the press release.
