Experts Warn Alabama On Huge Wasp Nests Coming This Year!

A few years back a warning was issued for these yellow jacket "super nests" in Alabama. I didn't even understand what that was at the time. NOW, It's back.

I witnessed these nests, many the size of an entire side of a home, all over parts of south Alabama.

Now, as a resident in the great state of Alabama, I am hoping we don't experience the same thing here.

According to LiveScience, for the first time in 2022, some of these nests measured the same size as a car. Yes, you read that. Now, these things are coming in droves according to experts.

The people at the Alabama Cooperative Extension System, keep up with this kind of thing.

Apparently, we could be in for more "super nests" due to the winter we've had just like a few years ago in 2022.

Typically, the nests begin showing up on the sides of homes, in sheds or a garage, in late February or March. C'mon man.

Here is an entomologist from Alabama, and a few victims of the "super nest" explaining their ability to hunt us humans down.

As a child, I ran into a hornet's nest, got stung over 50 times, and am now highly allergic.

Yellow jacket wasps build intricate nests from chewed wood fibers and saliva, yes, wasp saliva. That sounds great, huh?
