Powerful storms Sunday night damaged the tent in which Tuscaloosa's DCH Regional Medical Center has been conducting drive-thru COVID-19 tests and further screening is suspended until staff is able to repair the site, according to statements released on the hospital's social media.

The announcement was also sent to anyone subscribed to TuscAlerts for the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Alabama Department of Public Health has reported 120 confirmed cases of the highly contagious virus in Tuscaloosa County as of Monday morning.
