The biggest college football pregame show in America, ESPN "College Gameday" has chosen Tuscaloosa, Alabama as its broadcast home this coming weekend to celebrate the No. 3 Georgia Bulldogs taking on the No. 2 Alabama Crimson Tide.

This will be the crew's first trip back to Tuscaloosa since Alabama fell to LSU in 2019 46-41. This will be "College Gameday's" 15th trip to a particular school, second only to Ohio State 18 times hosting. It will be the second Georgia game the "College Gameday" crew has been at after they watched the Bulldogs hammer the Auburn Tigers 27-6 two weeks ago.

ESPN's "College Gameday" will air on Saturday from 8-11 a.m. CT from the campus of the University of Alabama. The popular program will be capturing the atmosphere in Tuscaloosa while the stadium's capacity will be limited to just under 20,000.

Alabama is 3-0 but gave up a whopping 647 yards against Ole Miss this past weekend. Georgia enters the game 3-0 as well having controlled games with solid defense and a running game. The two schools meet for the first time in the regular season since 2015 where Alabama defeated Georgia 38-10.

The schools have met twice in the post season since that matchup and have played two close contests. Kirby Smart is looking for his first win against his former head coach.

"College Gameday" will look a bit different this year without a full compliment of spectators but knowing they are in the city adds an extra layer of excitement for this monumental game.
