The City of Tuscaloosa is sponsoring some summer fun at the Richard A.Curry Jr. Complex each Friday in July! The "Green Scene" movie series is free to attend and features some favorite family flicks.

Movies are shown at 1 p.m. each Friday at the Richard A. Curry Jr. complex. Here's more from the City of Tuscaloosa:

This free community event provides an opportunity to educate citizens on the importance of keeping the community clean and litter free and encourages environmental stewardship while enjoying a popular children’s movie on a big screen. Guests will receive a free bag of popcorn and refreshments provided by Coca-Cola Tuscaloosa. An adult must accompany children under the age of 15, and guests are asked to limit five children per supervising adult. Outside food is allowed but will not be provided.

This year's "Green Scene" movies include:

  • July 7th: Finding Dory
  • July 14th: Wall-E
  • July 21st: Moana
  • July 28th: Toy Story 3
