Arizona Cardinals' safety Rashad Johnson suffered one of the worst injuries we've ever heard about, but it's one that fans couldn't even see. During Sunday's 31-7 loss in New Orleans, Johnson lost the top of his middle finger on a special teams play.





Johnson, who was drafted in the third round of the 2009 NFL Draft out of Alabama, has been the starting free safety in Arizona. His playing status moving forward is still uncertain as he recovers from surgery. Tyrann Mathieu is listed as the backup to Johnson on the depth chart.
