Bill Battle coached seven winning seasons at Tennessee.
He served as Bama’s Athletic Director from 2013-2017. Battle said he never really wanted to be an athletic director.

Battle’s College Licensing Company, monetizing University brands, eventually generated billions of dollars for colleges.

Coach Battle said his faith had been a major influence on his life. It played a part in Battle meeting and marrying the love of his life Mary. Battle said he beat cancer thanks to excellent care and many prayers.
