I think I could eat it every day and never get tired of it.

Recently, I worked on a project with some folks called "Sweet Home Alabama-The Definitive 2026 Guide To The Best Of Alabama".

The guide looks at a ton of great categories throughout Alabama, but my favorite was the restaurant guide.

NEVER TRUST A SKINNY COOK

So, our team looked at tackling the BEST BBQ JOINTS IN ALL OF ALABAMA!

When it comes to great BBQ, Alabama is an All-Pro.

According to the judges/team, here are the ten best BBQ joints in Alabama.

Let us know if you agree/disagree.

THE BEST OF THE BEST LIST

10. Jim 'N Nicks Community BBQ, located in Birmingham

The original location draws rave reviews, especially for its loaded mac & cheese.

9. Miss Myra's Pit Bar-B-Q in Vestavia Hills

This joint has been featured on the Food Network by one of their most popular TV personalities. Food Network called it "pit-smoked perfection".

8. Bob Sykes Bar-B-Q in Bessemer

They start that smokin' as early as 3:00 am! That's dedication to great food.

7. Hog Wild Beach & BBQ in Gulf Shores

Another spot that has been featured nationally on the Cooking Channel for the "Nasty G". Order it and find out!

6. Lannies BBQ Spot in Selma

Known for the little twist they put on their sandwiches. A piece of crispy smoked pigskin on top.

5. Archibald's BBQ in Northport

Do I need to sell anyone on how great Mr. Washington's BBQ joint is? I think not.

4. Brenda's BBQ in Montgomery

Well, don't go here expecting to sit down and have a meal. Brenda is take-out ONLY.

3. Saw's Soul Kitchen in Birmingham

This is one of my personal favorites, and I've tried everything on this menu. It is ALL good.

2. Big Bob Gibson's BBQ in Decatur

The top two caused a heated debate. Some feel it is a little overrated, while others think it deserves to be #1... what say you?

AND FINALLY.....

1. DREAMLAND BAR-B-QUE IN TUSCALOOSA

Started back in 1958 by "Big Daddy." This is about the original location in T-town. There ain't nothing like it nowhere! It truly is different from all of the other locations, and it's just superior in my honest opinion.

NOW, what do you think?
