Follow the Govenor Bentley Developments LIVE on 95.3 The Bear

The Wild Bill Show will carry the Gov. Robert Bentley resignation LIVE on 95.3 The Bear today at 5pm.  Sources say he plans to resign over allegations he covered up an affair with an aide.

An anonymous source told the AP, "Bentley is in good spirits over the decision to step down."

Word of Bentley's decision comes on the first day of impeachment hearings. He is accused of abusing his state powers to try to hide his romance.

Robert Bentley has acknowledged making personal mistakes but denied doing anything illegal or anything that should result in his removal from office.
