Less than an hour before Alabama Governor Robert Bentley reportedly set to resign, he was booked into Montgomery County Jail.

The governor's mugshot and charges were posted to the jail's database around 4 PM Monday afternoon. Each charge carried a $300 bond.

We are still awaiting official word from the governor on whether he will resign his position, but multiple media outlets have reported that he came to an agreement in Montgomery. Lieutenant Governor Kay Ivey is expected to be sworn in as the next governor sometime today.

Stay tuned to our station throughout the evening for updates.
