Amari Cooper Named to the Pro Bowl in Rookie Season
Oakland Raiders rookie wide receiver Amari Cooper wasted little time justifying his fourth-overall selection in the 2015 NFL Draft and was rewarded with an invitation to the Pro Bowl.
The first-round pick out of Alabama led rookies in practically every receiving category this season by finishing with 72 receptions for 1,070 yards and six touchdowns.
Despite an uncharacteristic amount of drops this season, Cooper still compiled one of the best rookie seasons in NFL history. His 72 catches were the most ever by a player aged 21 or younger and his yardage total was second-best ever at his age. He broke the Raiders record for receptions and 100-yard games as a rookie and
Cooper joins four other Raiders in the January 31 game.
